Proboards Agreement
The following came right off the registration page. They aren’t all rules – they’re Proboards (our forum host), but you should know we agree with them and we will also enforce them. If you can’t agree with these rules you’ll be banned.
You agree, through your use of this forum, that you will not post any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, or otherwise in violation of ANY law. This is not only humorous, but legal actions can be taken against you. You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or you have consent from the owner of the copyrighted material. Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations are also inappropriate to this forum.
Note that it is impossible for us to confirm the validity of posts on this forum. Please remember that we do not actively monitor the posted messages and are not responsible for their content. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any information presented. The messages express the views of the author, not necessarily the views of this forum. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator of this forum immediately. We have the rights to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if we determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy goes for member profile information as well.

You should also know that Proboards doesn’t allow members under the age of 13 years old to join the board. Your character can be younger than 13, but you, the writer, must be at least 13 years old. If we find anyone younger than 13 running around, we’ll be forced to ban you until you turn 13.

Using Proboards
Here are some features we think you’ll find handy and some guidelines to use them. Of course, you don’t have to use these features, but it is always nice.
You can send a Private Message, or PM, to any other member on the site. To do this, you must be logged in. Scroll to the very top of the board, as far up as you can get. Click on “0 messages” (or some other number if you already have PMs waiting for you to read). This will bring you to your own PM center. Click on the New Message button and type in their username in the box provided.
You can also send a PM by viewing the user’s profile. At the bottom, click on “Send this member a private message.” It will bring you to a PM page with their username already in the little box for you and everything.
The PM system is a great way to ask questions to other members or administrators. They’re also great for setting up threads or plotlines. You could also use the PM system to say hello to a good friend.
Your avatar is the picture that appears to the side of your post underneath your name and title. If you’re going to use this feature, it must be a picture of your character (or at least something very close to it). Please no animations and please try to select an avatar different from other members. You should also know that Proboards will not allow you to have an image larger than 100 x 100.
You may also have a brief signature – which is the text that appears underneath each post. You’re not required to have these, but if you do, please make them small. They can be quotes relevant to your character, information, or parts of song lyrics. If you really must, you may use an image, but please, no large or distracting images or we’ll just ban them all together.
