If you would like to join as a student or staff member, there is a process you must go through. It is a short and simple process, really, but it makes sure that all of our members are good ones. Here are some guidelines for you to read and follow. Make sure you know these, because we’re not going to accept a character that isn’t right for our site!
We also don’t want anyone with super doper magic skills, either. No normal human can talk to unicorns or horses or whatever. No normal first year can overtake a professor in a dual. No learning student will be successful at everything on their first try – be realistic, have faults, make mistakes.
We accept humans, and only humans. We don’t want half-human, half-unicorns running around our school. Humans. With two eyes, two ears, a nose, and a mouth. We’re also not going to accept anyone with major mental disabilities either. Sure, we’ll take people afraid of the dark, but nobody who is crazy and kills people in their sleep.
As for physical disabilities, we’re letting those go, for the most part. Blindness, deafness, muteness, or the need of a wheelchair – those types of things will be accepted. However, if we find too many disabled people running around we’ll put another foot down and say no to it. Make sure this is what you want, though. It might be hard to write a character that can’t hear.
Twins may also be accepted at a later time, but at this time, we don’t want any. And when we do accept twins, it’s very RARE. Really, go through your town and count how many twins you have. If you live in a small town, it’s probably not 30. But for now, there will be no twins roaming around Hogwarts.
On one final note, no canon characters from the books will be accepted. Harry, Hermione, Ron, and Draco… they’ve all left Hogwarts. And they don’t have any little brothers, cousins, or relatives that are attending the school either. Don’t even try to register a canon character because you’ll be denied.

Here are the steps to become a student. Make sure the student you’re applying for is realistic and follows the guidelines mentioned above.
The first thing you should do is register a member by clicking the “Register” icon on the menu bar at the top. Enter an ID and a VALID e-mail address. You’ll get an e-mail sent to that VALID e-mail address. If you don’t, send Norrelle Maverick an e-mail (Norrelle_Maverick@yahoo.com) and he’ll set you up.
There is only one place you should post after you registered a character. It’s not any role-playing boards, but it’s the sorting hat board. Go there and post a character bio (provided below) in the thread provided. Michael Tyrone will go through, read the profiles, and determine if your character will fit at our school. If there are one or two problems, he’ll correct it. If there are too many problems, he’ll just decline your sorting and ask you to fix it.
Also, please don’t post a skimpy profile. I like to read what happened to your characters before they came to Hogwarts. Don’t just tell me that they lived an uneventful life with their parents. Tell me more – tell me why they got so interested in Quidditch. And remember to be unique. Oh, and you should know that “See Picture” won’t cut if for physical description.
Assuming you’ve been accepted, you’re title will be changed – giving you access to your House boards. I suggest going there first. HOH’s usually post information in their common rooms, and it’s always a great place to go to meet new friends within your house.
After you’ve looked through your house boards, you’re free to post anywhere else you would like! Go start new threads. Join existing ones. Make new friends. Have fun. But if you have any questions or problems, don’t hesitate to contact a member of the administration.

Physical Appearance: A rather small figured girl, with long dark hair. She has cold harsh eyes that look like rain clouds. She has pale skin even though shes from Egyptian decent. She believes it's because she rarely goes outside unless necessary. She has razor sharp finger nails, that can easily rip through flesh if need be. They're her only defense besides magic. Her body is much too weak to actually do any fighting. No one believes that shes 15 because shes so tiny, but her face is definitely matured... and so is her mind.
Personality: A big cold hearted, Jamie is only nice to those who are nice in return, or who have gone out of their way to be friendly. She never approaches others. They have to come to her first. She isn't shy, she just has extreme trust issues. She can be nice and loyal to those who she has grown to trust.
Background: Born to two Egyptians she was put up for adoption for unknown reasons. She was adopted by an American Smuggle family - who than gave her to a British Warding family once they found out their adopted daughter had magical powers.
Not only did they think of Jamie as a demon child... they no longer trusted her around their other adopted children and thought of her a threat to all of those around her. Extremely odd things happened while she lived in America, dark - scary things that one would think only took place in horror movies. Things would disappear and reappear - such as children, money, and valuables , the lights would constantly flicker - as if representing Jamie's anger, animals would end up dead on the front porch. Pets would become deranged and no one knew why.
No one ever believed the dark girls with the cold gray eyes was responsible though - not until they found out she was witch. That summer they locked her into a storm shelter under the house and chained her to the wall... she could move around a bit... but no matter how long she screamed they wouldn't let her out. She has scars around her wrists where the chains were. Once the Ministry of Magic sensed that something they had once of their employees come take a look at the residence Jamie was at. Found her circumstances and took her back to England with them.
She was put into an old warding couples' home. But ever since the summer before her 1st year at Hogwarts she has never been the same... she hardly speaks and when she does its usually just words filled with ice. And no one really knows what exactly is wrong with her... she is mentally intact and it doesn't seem that anything is wrong wit hher.... she just is suffering from trauma.
She has been spending the past 5 years of her new warding life totally and completely involved in her studies and she never lifts her nose out of the books shes reading in fear of doing something she has no control over.. though Jamie isn't extremely powerful anyone - her magical abilities are controlled by her emotions... and she still has trouble keeping control of her emotional which is why its so hard to control her magic....

Personality: Leah's a smart girl, but she isn't a genius. She can think on her feet good enough to get her out of small problems, but she couldn't think her way out of a corner if she tried. She takes pride in her self, but is far from narcissistic.
Background: Leah had been born in Norwich to Lori and Alabastor Reinholt on the 23rd of May, 1993. Her parents both being magical, knew where she would end up eventually and in turn did what they could to keep her magic under control as, Norwich is not a magical community. At age 10 they finally explained to her about her magical abilities, she took pride in them instead of backing away in disbelief. She always knew there was something different about her, but she didn't know what.
Hobbies or Interests: Reading is her favorite past time, which at Hogwarts; the library would be the most common place to find her, that or tucked into a chair, but still with a book in front of her. She also enjoys the outdoors, something about the feel of the sunshine, and the morning dew on the grass that just makes it a wonderful place to be.

Physical Appearance:Alexis is a skinny girl, people believed that she had an eating disorder when she was young but it isn't true, she is just a skinny 13 year old girl. She's comes at 6'1 Because she is skinny she is tall girl for her age.
Personality: Alexis is nice, friendly, loyal and out-going. If her friends are in danger she will always be there for them.
Background:Alexis and her family moved from London when Alex was born because they believed that no one in their family is magical. But, when Alex grew up, odd things kept happening. Her parents thought that they now have at least one witch in the family. So, they went back to London, and at Alex's eleven birthday, she gotten a letter accepting her to hogwarts. Her parents were very happy, but her siblings were jealous.
Hobbies or Interests: She loves to sing, write and read.
Abilities or other notes: um...She hadn't shown any abilities.
